Another up-tempo song with a great opening riff, and a song about the “future” of 1999 that sounds odd today in 2016.
You may notice from the musicians credits that I don't actually play on this song, the first on this set where I don't appear (but not the last).
I thought long and hard about whether to include songs in which I don't appear, but the few songs that I am absent from still are important pieces of the jigsaw and I do in fact sing backing vocals on live versions of “1999”, so decided to leave this an a few others in.
