In addition to the Cook song, I also started working on new material for Bop, in readiness for introducing yet another guitarist, Mickey Dunne, from local band The Lice.
We were going through guitarists like Spinal Tap went through drummers, but thankfully none of our axemen exploded.
“Black Sheep”, although fully formed here, never got any further than this version.
THINGS TO LISTEN OUT FOR: At one point you can hear me say “bugger off” to someone peering into the room from the street, curious as to where the racket was coming from.
