Track 0210: LET'S GO (Hodgson/Hylton) 3:09 (BLITZKRIEG BOP) (25th September 1977)
Musicians: John Hodgson – lead vocals, synthesizer, Ann Hodgson – guitar, Mick Hylton – bass guitar, Alan Cornforth – drums
Recorded: Middlesbrough Town Hall Crypt (live performance) BBC Uher mono cassette recorder, 1 x remote microphone.
This gig probably marked the high point of our popularity locally. Soon after we had line-up changes and we seemed to lose some credibility as other local bands started coming through, particularly No Way.
We had supported touring bands before, but it doesn't get much better than supporting Ultravox! at the Town Hall, and almost all of the 800 people in the audience were pleased to see us and we rewarded them with a fine performance.
Our manager borrowed a Uher tape recorder to capture the event, but the quality is nowhere near Alan's Heathkit set-up
