Track 0077: THE FORGOTTEN DAY (Hodgson) 6:26 (ADAMANTA CHUBB) (p.September 1975)
Musicians: John Hodgson – electric organ, electric piano, Dimmer Blackwell – guitar, Alan Cornforth – drums, vocals
Recorded: The Barn, Norton (room 1) stereo reel-to-reel tape recorder (7 ½ ips)
Original compositions were not something we took too seriously at this point, apart from “Landslide” we restricted ourselves to light hearted instrumentals such as “Carnage” and this song, another repetitive chord sequence with added solos from both myself and Dimmer.
Kevin McMaster was not present, and had probably already left the band as it was during September when he announced he was stepping down. This came as a shock to the band, and we immediately started looking for both a bass player and a vocalist.
