Yet more loose jamming, but this time at its heart is a fairly standard ballad of mine called “Never Been Away”, another song that I want to do a “proper” version of one day. Wrapped around the two versions of that song are passages of guitar feedback and weird sounds that I called “Rip Off” meaning rip off of Pink Floyd as it does have the feel of that band circa 1971. I had added a slide guitar that sat atop my organ and made a tremendous racket when scraped with a bottleneck.
Alan Cornforth was again absent, so Kevin depped on the drums.
