Recorded: Roseberry Studios (site 1) mono cassette recorder
Another “proper” song, and like many from this period, a rather plodding pedestrian tempo due to the fact I had no way of creating any rhythm to liven up the arrangement.
Vocally I was still fragile, but I was learning all the time and slowly gaining confidence.
Lyrically I always tried to keep the quality up, and a verse from this song worked quite well:

Trying to make ends meet
Without anyone, when hope is gone
It's always the same for me
No happiness
No home address
Getting less and less
Like a normal life

All pretty depressing, but it probably reflected where I was in my life, having dreams of being a pop star and very little prospect of it happening.
